My past life began
with a Big Bang -
love forsaken for sake of creation,
a new human life sprang,
causing a union of convention
destined to end
with a door being slammed.
Confused and confounded,
bound
in a prolonged state of contraction,
we reacted with action,
exploding
in a fraction of a second,
expanding,
sparked off like charged particles.
Smashed together and scattered,
we shattered like atoms splitting,
hitting velocities thought Impossible,
volatile,
as contents under pressure,
projecting angry words
like extending projectiles
expending all their energy,
left spent and unrepentant
having relentlessly spent
our existence
in a perpetual state
of stagnating stasis.
An arrangement emulating marriage
a quantum mistake of a decision,
a sub-atomic abomination
we eventually aborted
when it hit rock bottom.
